When times get tough there is one choice that we as believers have and that is to say, Thank-you Lord. When it seems that we may not be able to pay the bills this month, we can say, Thank-You Lord. When we go to our car and it won’t start and when we go to work and our boss says we can go home. We can say, “Thank You Lord
I know that this may sound silly but the reason that we should do this is because 1 Thess. 5:18 says, “give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” All circumstances is not only talking about the good but also when things are tough. We serve a God who has done so much for us, that even when things are not going well we still have something to be thankful for.
“Lord, when the days ahead seem long and tough, help us to remember all that you have done for us so that we might always have something to be thankful for”. Amen
