With God on our side

Image18 “‘For behold, I have made you this day a fortified city and an iron pillar, and bronze walls against the whole land—against the kings of Judah, against its princes, against its priests, and against the people of the land. 19 They will fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you. For I am with you,’ says the Lord, ‘to deliver you.’” Jeremiah 1:18-19

God had called Jeremiah to a tough task which was to preach His Word to His People. He let Jeremiah know that it would not be easy for they would reject it and hate him (Jeremiah) for it but nevertheless he had nothing to worry about for He would always be on His side.

This morning you too maybe facing a tough task. It might be something with your job or a person but remember this with God on your side, you have nothing to fear. No matter what may come against you today, it will not prevail because God is there.

Where God is, there is always peace and comfort even in the midst of suffering and pain.

Be strengthen and comforted today!!!

 

 

A Person that Walks in Integrity

“Better is the poor who walks in his integrity. Than one perverse in his ways, though he be rich.” Proverbs 28:6

What happen to the days when your word meant something? When people knew that you would do what you said you would do because your whole life represented it? Those days seem long gone but what it involved was integrity.

Integrity is what made people fulfill their obligations because it described who and what they are. It displayed their character and was a testimony of their trustworthiness. When you would speak people would listen!!!!! Why? Because you were a person of integrity.

What is integrity? It is something that involves the way we think, what we say, do and promise. Integrity deals with us as a whole, it is our total way of being.

Our world is desperately needing people who live and walk in integrity. Will you be that person?

It does not matter what you have done or what has happen in your life, you can still be a person of integrity. How? By telling the Lord, ” I know I have not lived my life the way it should be but I confess that before you and ask you to forgive me. Help me to be a person of Integrity but above all I pray that others may see YOU through me”. In Jesus Name, Amen
